Kami is not god.

There are so many things I want to write. For example about my English score, about relationship between the necessity to study English and automatic translation machine and so on. But I'm kind of tired and I don't have much time left. I have to go to bed as soon as possible not to oversleep. I'm so sleepy and dying. Today I talked with an English teacher like friend. My brain was not working so much. That's why she gave me some interesting topics kindly. I really appreciate it. I talked with her about god. Do you know the difference between god and kami? If you look up the word ''kami'' in the dictionary, you will find the meaning of kami and you will say that kami is god. Of course kami literally means god but this word indicates Japanese eight million gods not christ. What do you think about eight million gods? So many? Numerous? Uncountable?...I have to remember the difference between so many, numerous and uncountable. English is so difficult for me. Anyway, in Japan it has been believed that spilit and life reside with everything in the universe since ancient times. The thought is called animism. As Japanese people have the thought called animism, we cherish all things. But unfortunately if I asked some younger people whether they know animism or not, they could not answer anything. I took this picture a few years ago when I climbed a mountain with my friend which is nearby here. Can you see so many buildings? or numerous buildings? That is Osaka.
